Returned to RV camp here after a few years absence and still enjoyed the resort and location. We’ve upgraded from a pop-up to a full TT since last time. Had a great campsite w/full hookup. Pool, lake access, cabins and nearby state parks give this resort a unique appeal over other places we’ve stayed. Found quickest route to Burnet via Hoover Valley Rd. Management is very friendly.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Heart of Texas Lake Resort thanks to EVERYONE at Heart of Texas Lake Resort!!! The condo was really nice, clean and the air conditioner kept it plenty cool everyday…just the way we wanted it on hot Texas days. It was an easy place to fish; the arcade and miniature golf was fun and the grandsons loved shooting hoops and swimming. There were plenty of activities to keep everyone happy; they even have a laundry room where I could wash our clothes. All the staff did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable and their customer service exceeded our expectations!!! And, it was an excellent value! We will definitely return to the Heart of Texas Lake Resort!!! The grandsons already asked when we’ll go back next year!

This is a nice little place. We have a boat and like to grab a weekend away when we can. Boat launch and docks are great. You can keep an eye on things while inside. LBJ is a nice little lake. The rooms are pretty straight forward and clean, nothing fancy. Ownership is very nice and rates are fair.

We have had our family reunion there for several years. Couldn’t ask for a better place. Ruth Ann and Kenny are wonderful. We have a lot of little ones in the family and they are very accommodating. Oldest in our group is 87 and the youngest 7 months. Perfect place for all ages!!!
